EMG Automation GmbH offers renewed holiday support during the summer holidays
Even if there is nothing better for the children than to finally have a holiday, the combination of the long school holidays during the summer holidays with their own employment poses a great challenge to many working parents. In order to support their own employees, EMG Automation GmbH in Wenden this year once again offered them the opportunity to have their children looked after on EMG's premises during the first two weeks of the summer holidays. The offer was aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 12 with a daily care period from 08:00 to 17:00 hours.
This is the third time that holiday care has been provided at EMG. The need for childcare this year was once again fourteen children in all. All children received yellow EMG T-shirts again on the first day. This year, the group was looked after by two Proki Kinderevents employees, who have been offering childcare solutions and concepts for employees' children for companies since 1999 and thus have a great deal of experience in this area. This year, Proki Kinderevents offered an exciting and varied program for the children of EMG employees.
In the first week from 15 - 19 July 2019, a lot was done, from upcycling to Pom-Poms or Playmais, but the mobility of the future was also tried out with LEGO Education. The highlight of the first week was certainly the trip to the Cologne Zoo.
In the second week from 22.07. - 26.07.2019 there was a lot of outdoor play in the best weather, but also creative things made of salt dough or tile pictures. In addition, experiments were carried out under the motto "Digital Tinkerers". The excursion to the Atta cave in Attendorn was the second highlight of the holiday care.
During many activities in the EMG conference centre and in the fresh air near the company premises, the children had a lot of fun and were able to make many new friends.
EMG's employees were also very pleased with the children's group that they met again and again on the company premises, as well as with the cheerful laughter that some of them will certainly miss.
On the last day of the holiday care, the children's handicrafts were used to show their parents once again what their children had experienced during the holiday care.
Since all children had a lot of fun again this year and the offer was so well accepted, we plan to offer such a care again for the summer holidays 2020.
