Steering stand for chemical processing SRHQ

The SRHQ pinch roller steering stand is arranged downstream of a longer free strip track. It is used without deflecting the strip if adequate adherence between the strip and the rollers is ensured by the positioning of both rollers.

For safe guidance in the case of oiled and/or thicker strip material, or if higher strip tension is involved, we recommend using a double pinch-roller steering stand or the three-roller steering stand type SRHT .

The swivel frame with the pinch rollers is guided via two steering levers so that a suitable combination of the angle formation between the strip and roll axis (I-portion) and a lateral displacement of the strip (P-portion) is achieved. In addition to the exact outlet position of the strip, a centring effect is also achieved in the inlet zone.

The inductive measuring system for pipe assembly type IMR  is used for detection of the strip position. It is suitable for an aggressive and humid environment and is used in strip pickling or cleaning lines with medium temperatures of up to 80° C. Four encapsulated coils are inserted here into medium-resistant, non-metallic protective pipes that run through the container above and below the strip.
