High-precision measurement of the strip position
For the high-precision measurement of the strip position with an accuracy of ± 1 mm - e.g. on strip centre guiding systems in front of the side trimmers, mills, etc. - the inductive BMIH centre guide sensing frame proves to be worthwhile. The precise measuring equipment will be supplied as a compact ready-to-assemble measuring frame made of anodized aluminium sections with a separate evaluation electronics. Depending on the selected centre sensors, strip width variations of 200, 550, 950 or 1550 mm from centre position are detected.
