Universal MicroController
The UMC universal microcontroller is a modular PLC for rapid calculation and control, especially designed for highly dynamic servo-hydraulic control systems. In order to find a flexible solution to a great number of applications using the same hardware, the decision was made to use the graphical surface logiCAD/32 for programming and documentation.
The combination of binary, integer and floating point modules on one surface makes programming easy and clear, and thus is user-friendly. It allows optimum adaptation to any problem or working method without knowledge of high level languages and rapid reaction to customers' requests. The comprehensive software library is constantly extended by new applications. Since the programming software is only used on the PC, the costs for hardware are low.
