Design Draftsman

Technische Zeichner/-innen

Area of operation

Design draftsmen create technical documents independently. The necessary requirements are sketches, drawings revised by hand, drafts, descriptions and verbal orders. Depending on the operational area and management requirements, different core areas and capabilities exist, such as construction or development in industry and trade.

Design draftsmen predominantly design detailed specifications, as well as amend and complete the input on the final state of a drawing for the designing engineers. They work manually or with computer-aided design systems, and ensure that your data is secure and can be processed further. They are responsible for completeness and clarity in the performance of technical drawings and documents as well as ensuring they comply with standards, are functional and are suitable for production. They must comply with economic and environmental considerations and also help to ensure that communication can take place with the corresponding departments of the company.
