IT-system electronics technician

Area of operation
IT-system electronics technicians plan and install IT-systems including the relevant appliances, components and networks. They install power supplies and software, and put systems into operation. They realize customer-specific solutions through modifications to hardware and software. They analyze errors and solve disturbances. Typical areas of operation are computer systems, fixed and wireless networks, terminal devices or security systems.
Specifically this means that the daily routine for an IT-system electronics technician comprises, among other things, analyzing customers’ IT-technology requirements; designing IT-systems; generating offers; gathering information about financing options and the closing of contracts; acquiring devices, hardware and software as well as services; using methods for the planning, execution and supervision of projects; installing and starting up IT-systems including delivery to customers; arranging and performing services; advising and training customers and users; as well as billing for services performed.
