Components of an application

By applying for a job you begin a new phase in your life. You must now compete with many other applicants who are also interested in an apprenticeship. The format, contents and the time of your application are very important, because:

You only get one chance to make a first impression!

Therefore we would like to offer you some hints!

A successful application must contain:

• CV:
  Make sure it is a complete and consistent documentation of your life

• Photo:
  A current, professional photo of yourself, preferably using photo glue instead of a paper clip or photo corners

• Cover letter:
  Complete address, indicating how you came to know about the job (e.g. job advertisement, Internet), but please do not simply repeat the text of the job offer

• Application file:
  Neat copy of your diploma, certifications of internships or other further education, any possible samples of your work, cover sheet
