The District Court of Hamburg has decided by its judgement dtd 12.05.1998 that when pointing out to a link, responsibility has to be taken for these linked web sites as well, should the situation arise. According to the District Court, this may be prevented, however, by dissociating oneself from those contents. emg-automation.com is linked up with other web sites on the Internet.
The operator of these web pages specifically emphasises that he has no influence at all on the design and the contents of the linked web sites. Data privacy
With accesses to the Internet offer of the EMG Automation GmbH under normal conditions no data are raised. Sometimes for the recovery of technical problems it can be necessary to store certain data over the accesses like e.g. date and time of the access, the transferred data set, the name of the called up file and the IP address of the accessing host system. In this case the data are stored in a log file and deleted directly after recovery of the technical problem. The EMG Automation GmbH does not have influence on the fact that linked websites keep the data protection regulations.
