Hydraulic strip guiding system

The HR hydraulic power unit generates reliable hydraulic energy for any power range.

For strip guidance systems, hydraulic power units with a rating of between 0.18 and 15 kW is usually used. For extra-heavy coilers requiring extreme capacities, power units are tailor-made to suit the application.

Standard hydraulic power units basically consist of an oil tank, a motor-driven pump assembly, control valve and filter. In the lower capacity range, constant speed pumps are used, otherwise pressure-controlled pumps with variable displacement are installed.

If cooling is required, either air or water cooling may be used.

Optional extras:

• Signal contacts for level, temperature and pressure.
• Cabling of all electrical connections to the terminal box.
• Spare motor-driven pump assembly
• Stainless steel oil tank and pipework

Servo valves (see component description SV) or plunger coil regulators (see component description TR) are used for regulation.
